Sandra Birch, LICSW   Sandra is a Licensed Psychotherapist. She obtained her Masters in Social Work from Simmons College School of Social Work after teaching for five years at the National Outdoor Leadership School in Kenya, Mexico and Alaska. At NOLS Sandra taught leadership skills, risk management and survival skills. Sandra worked post masters in a variety of school settings --  managing crisis, overseeing mental health and serving as an administrator at both boarding and day schools in New England and Arizona.  She was also most recently the Director of Mental Health at Burr and Burton Academy and has been working as a clinician since 2002. Sandra is passionate about her work  and strives to empower her clients to realize their true potential.  Sandra also specializes in trauma, women's issues and family work.  Sandra works with: individuals, couples and families.  She is trained in EMDR and utilizes CBT, DBT and Mindfulness.

She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from Boston University, with a specialty in Group Work. Claire has extensive experience working in the education setting, and is passionate about helping children and adolescents with challenges related to anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum and social thinking skills. Claire has also worked in the medical arena, which helped to create a special affinity for working with seniors. Claire brings a strength-based approach to working with individuals and groups, and the belief that each person holds within them the ability to overcome adversity and become the unique individual they were meant to be. She works with children, adolescents, seniors, and individuals dealing with mid-life issues.  *Please note. Loree has worked in the public and private school world in both residential and day settings.  She has extensive experience with couples work and high conflict divorce.  Loree is trained in DBT and uses both DBT and CBT in her work.  Loree is dedicated to client- centered work and values a solutions-focused approach with her clients.  She does individual work as well as couples, families and groups.

  Katie Clover LICSW   Katie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the newest addition to the Elm Counseling team.  She works to empower clients to begin living the life they envision for themselves.  After working in high intensive treatment settings specifically for treating eating disorders, she is especially passionate about helping those with Anorexia, Bulimia, or Binge Eating Disorder.  Whatever a person is struggling with, she wants to help them discover healing through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy approaches.
